Configuring Storage to ESXi host
Configuring Storage
Configuring iSCSI Storage:
Step 1. Login to Your Vsphere Client connect to your host or DataCenter, Select Host, Click on Configuration
Step2. Click on Storage Adapters under Hardware, Right Click under Storage Adapter, Click on Add Software iSCSI Adapter
Step3. Click on OK
Step4. Now you can see Recent Task, Status says In Progress
Step4. Now you can see iSCSI Software Adapter is created
Step5. Now you can select iSCSI Software Adapter, Right Click on vmhba33, Click on Properties
Step6. Click on Configuration
Step7. Enter Your SAN IQN target provided by your SAN team
Step8. Enter Your SAN team provided target IQN and iSCSI Alias Name, Click on OK
Step9. Click on Dynamic Discovery tab, Click on Add,
Step10. Enter IP address of the iSCSI Server and Port, Click on OK
Step11. Click on Yes
Step11. Click on Yes, Click on RescanAll now you can See View the iSCSI is added
Step 12. Now You can Add the iSCSI Storage By Clicking on Storage, Click on Add Storage
Step 13. Select on Disk/LUN, Click on Next
Step 14. Select on Disk/LUN, Click on Next
Configuring iSCSI Storage:
Step 1. Login to Your Vsphere Client connect to your host or DataCenter, Select Host, Click on Configuration
Step2. Click on Storage Adapters under Hardware, Right Click under Storage Adapter, Click on Add Software iSCSI Adapter
Step3. Click on OK
Step4. Now you can see Recent Task, Status says In Progress

Step5. Now you can select iSCSI Software Adapter, Right Click on vmhba33, Click on Properties

Step7. Enter Your SAN IQN target provided by your SAN team
Step8. Enter Your SAN team provided target IQN and iSCSI Alias Name, Click on OK
Step9. Click on Dynamic Discovery tab, Click on Add,
Step10. Enter IP address of the iSCSI Server and Port, Click on OK
Step11. Click on Yes
Step11. Click on Yes, Click on RescanAll now you can See View the iSCSI is added
Step 12. Now You can Add the iSCSI Storage By Clicking on Storage, Click on Add Storage
Step 13. Select on Disk/LUN, Click on Next
Step 14. Select on Disk/LUN, Click on Next
